For more than 40 years, Italthai Industrial has played a major role in Thailand's rapid industrialization through its Machinery Solution Group. This part of Italthai is a major heavy equipment supplier and solution provider to Thailand's construction mining and other key industries. The business is centered around three major exclusive suppliers Volvo Construction Equipment, Doosan-IR Portables and Bobcat compact equipment, Tadano Mobile Cranes.
Throughout this 40 years period, Volvo Construction Equipment has developed a comprehensive range of products through internal development, mergers and acquisitions. It now competes on a par with Caterpillar, Komatsu, Kobelco and Hitachi. Its products include excavators, articulated haulers, wheel loaders, motor graders, compactors, asphalt pavers, other road building machinery etc.
Doosan-IR adds its high quality portable air compressors & light towers, Bobcat skid steer loaders & telehandlers. Tadano's hydraulic truck cranes including all terrain & rough terrain are another line of our exclusive products. The latest non-exclusive agreement with Atlas Copco Construction & Mining for pneumatic and hydraulic drills completes the portfolio.
The Machinery Solution Group is headquartered at Mahachai, 26 kms south of metropolitan Bangkok, in a large purpose built facility. Not only does it have accommodation for large volumes of spare parts and service areas, it also includes fully licensed and certified assembly facilities when required. Up country branches are located in Lampang North, Korat North East, Hat Yai South, Surattani Mid South and Phuket the southern island.
Heavy Equipment sells to all of Thailand's reputable civil contractors, mining firms and industrial manufacturers, like several of its sister companies in the Italthai Group. It has extensive contacts with the various government agencies: Engineer Department, Royal Irrigation Department, Department of Public Works and Town & Country Planning, Department of Highways, Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand, Provincial Electricity Authority, Other Provincial Authorities & Municipal nationwide.
