Overseas Business Group
The overseas Business Group was established in the year 2003 to explore the new opportunities both in Thailand and abroad. Its main focus is to initiate new product lines to be produced by Italthai group's facilities as well as source out local and foreign partners in developing market potential product lines to be supplied to the local & international market.
One of the success businesses is to export the special design water tank equipped with full accessories and attachment produced by the steel fabrication unit of ITD its sister company to the United States, Europe, Oceania and Asian markets. Over 500 sets of high quality water tanks [range 2,000 to 20,000 gallons] were sold during the first 2 years of the operation, and project to be double to 1,000 sets in 2006. The success key of the products based on the unique engineering design of the water tanks themselves and the full function accessories & attachments as well as the excellent workmanship, which are superior to the existing products in the markets including in the US market.
Other product lines of the group include producing Machinery OEM parts for international market, high tensile steel Dump Body for KOMATSU off-highway truck, CATERPILLAR underground mining truck.
Besides the export business, the group supplies engineering materials for soil treatment, Air Duct Ventilation System for Under Ground Mass Transit and Marine Fender System for Sea Port. Some of the mega projects that using the group's products are the new Airport project, Bangkok Metro Underground Mass Transist, A2 and 5 Leam Chabang Terminal, Shell Refinery Jetty, Star Petroleum Refinery Port, PTT Port, Samui Island, South Pattaya Sea Port, etc.
